Everyone! Support from alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends is the key to success on U Giving Day!
HOW CAN I MAKE MY GIFT?
Visit ugivingday.utah.edu 9:00 AM MT on Tuesday, February 25 through 3:49 PM MT on Wednesday, February 26 and choose one of our participating areas. Once the clock starts, you’ll see a red “Give Now” button on every page.
WHERE DOES MY GIFT GO?
You can choose to designate your gift to any of the “Areas to support”. 100% of your donation will go to the area you choose. Invest in any of your passions from academics, research, health care, the arts, athletics, or the community. Go to the HOME page to select which area you’d like to support.
CAN I MAKE A GIFT BY MAIL OR PHONE?
Yes, but only gifts made online or over the phone on February 25 – 26 will count toward our overall totals and competitions. If you would like to make a gift by phone, please call (801) 581-6825 during business hours.
If you would like to make a gift by mail, please mail your check, payable to the University of Utah, to: Development Office P.O. Box 410481, Salt Lake City, UT 84112-0481.
I DON’T SEE THE AREA I WANT TO GIVE TO…
The U Giving Day website does not represent all the giving options at the U. If the area you want to support does not have a project page you can still give to them through the traditional University of Utah giving site here. Search the A – Z list for a more complete list of campus areas. Still can’t find want you want to support, email Annual Giving at annual.giving@utah.edu and we can help get your gift to the right place.
WILL MY GIFT BE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
The University of Utah is a registered 501-c3 nonprofit and gifts are tax deductible to the extent of the law. Please consult your tax advisor for any tax related questions. I AM A STAFF / FACULTY MEMBER, CAN I SET UP PAYROLL DEDUCTION?
Yes, as a University of Utah staff or faculty member you can start a gift via payroll deduction at any time. Visit Utah.edu/Giving and select “UofU Employee Payroll Deduction” at the top of the screen to get started.
